Our name means “The Extended Hand,” symbolizing connection, hope, and unity. We believe that extending a hand to someone in need can change more than just a moment; it can change a life.

Founder’s Message

My name is Sabrina Casillas, and I founded La Mano Extendida because I know what it feels like to grow up needing a helping hand.

I was raised in Los Angeles and I’ve seen firsthand how hardship, domestic struggles, and financial uncertainty can shape a person’s world. But I’ve also witnessed the power of people coming together to lift one another up.

La Mano Extendida represents more than charity. It’s about connection, dignity, and love in action. Every delivery, every event, and every family we serve is a reflection of where I come from and the belief that we rise by lifting others.
